Right?<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Are you one among those, who spend watching videos round the clock and later regret on spending a lot of time on it.<\/p>\n<p>If you\u00a0are likely to do this often, YouTube has a new\u00a0feature to manage your time.<\/p>\n<h2>Youtube to soon introduce \u201cTime Watched\u201d feature<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">YouTube now joins other social giants. Resembling Instagram \u201cAll caught up feature\u201d and Facebook\u00a0&#8220;Your time on Facebook, the video-sharing application is updating \u201cTime Watched<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201d feature <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">aimed specifically at helping people track how much time they spend on their devices<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><b>A recent report on official Youtube blog notes that<\/b><\/h4>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cOur goal is to provide a better understanding of time spent on YouTube, so you can make informed decisions about how you want YouTube to best fit into your life,\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h4><strong><i>Let\u2019s see how the feature actually works.<\/i><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To find the Time Watched menu in the YouTube app, just head towards Account menu by tapping on your profile picture in the top right-hand corner. Then click on the <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Time Watched<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> option, and you will find your time results. However, you will be able to see how long you have watched YouTube videos on a particular day, the previous day, and over the past week.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Moreover, Users can also set reminders to alert them of how much time they\u2019re spending watching videos. Once\u00a0you\u00a0set the\u00a0reminder, YouTube will show a pop-up advising user to take a break from watching videos.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">These results are based on the user\u2019s watch history. But, If you delete videos from your history or view them in \u00a0Incognito Mode, it is not possible to track time.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Google&#8217;s Vice President of product management <strong>Sameer Samat<\/strong> points out that;<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cHelping people with their digital well-being is more important to us than ever.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Apart from this, it also provides users to control the notifications they receive from YouTube.Users can now group all their push notifications into one daily notification, as well as you can schedule time for when you want to receive the notification.<\/p>\n<p>Beyond that, YouTube allows users to disable vibrating notifications between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m. So that the users are not disturbed when it&#8217;s time for bed.<\/p>\n<p>YouTube paves the way as the most strong social media channel.
