Top 3 latest features of Facebook “DOWN-VOTE”, “PAYMENT” AND “QR CODE”
DOWN-VOTE BUTTON
A dislike button has long been the most requested Facebook feature, but Facebook has never given in. Instead, Facebook is working on the new feature “ Down-vote “ quite similar to dislike button.
When the user taps on the down-vote button, it hides a comment or post, and provides users with reporting options like “Misleading”, “Offensive”, and “Off Topic”. Which could help Facebook to trace out if the comment is a form of “fake news”, objectionable, or just irrelevant. As shown in the above image.
Facebook already has a “Hide” button for comments, but it’s always hidden in the drop-down arrow on comments rather than immediately clickable.
PAYMENT FEATURE
Facebook has been testing payment feature providing mobile recharge and other prepaid services on Messenger. Messenger’s payment option allows users to send money in a message similar to how they can send a photo. Users can add a debit card in Messenger. Within the app, a pin code also exists for added security around payments.
How does it work?
To get started with mobile recharge, tap on the hamburger icon at the top right and choose Mobile Recharge/Mobile Top-Up from the list of options. Furthermore, users will see their past debit cards listed on the Recharge Now page. These cards will only show up if they have made any other transaction with Facebook before. Tapping on the Recharge Now button will lead them to a page where they have to enter their phone number.
However, Facebook automatically detects which operator the number is associated with in most cases. In case if an error occurs, users can simply choose their brand from the dropdown list. After this process, it’s on to entering the recharge amount. Members can also browse through plans at this point.
lastly, an Order Details page appear, where the user can choose their preferred mode of payment. Finally, tap on the Place order to complete the process.
Apart from mobile recharge, you also have an option to transfer money to your friends. let’s get in detail
To send money using the app, first, you need to tap on “Payments”, and then on the “Next” button to arrive at the “Pay” section. Now enter the amount you want to transfer and add a note about what the payment is for and finally tap on “Pay”. You’re done.
To request money, tap on “Request”, present at the top of the screen, enter the amount you need and the reason, lastly again tap on “Request” to complete the process.
This is one of the easiest ways to transfer money and that too using an app that you already have on your smartphone. There is no need to download any additional app for payment purpose. All you need is a debit card and you can send money to anyone in the world.
